The Pit
Crew Classic is a racing themed promotion where 14 guys from
around the country compete in 3 pit crew tasks. The guy who
completes the tasks in the fastest cumulative time wins the
grand prize. The grand prize will also be awarded to a
random winner of an online sweepstakes. For more info, click

The campaign will run during professional auto racing events
on ESPN2 and TNT from Saturday, June 9, 2007 through
Saturday, July 7, 2007. The online campaign extension (www.pitcrewclassic.com)
will run exclusively from May 21, 2007 through July 10,
2007.
Barbara will serve as auto expert and host of the 85
30-second spots. She will be working with a professional pit
crew team and will have 3 main duties:
- to educate the guys and the viewing audience about
the right way to perform the task (jack a car, fill a
gas tank, and remove lug nuts from a tire)
- to moderate the competition and deliver scripted
lines opening and closing the spot
- to communicate play by play commentary on the guys'
performance as they compete.
